Girl / Boy Graduates

Two more grad cards using the unknown digital images. They certainly are great images so thanks for whoever designed the images. I used the same basic layout for each card...just changed the embellishments. I used the curved rectangle in different sizes and embossed all of them. I also embossed one sheet of black CS using the circles folder.
I gold embossed the edges of the image layer and then attached it with dimensionals onto glossy white SU paper. This follows the challenge at Cute Card Thursday Mirror, Mirror. I used the Marvy flower punches to the embossed paper to create the flowers. The brads are from SU soft subtles collection. I used a black spica pen to trace the outline of the yellow embossed edge.

I on the boy card I used die cuts from the cuttlebug graduate die. I used glossy paper to make these die cuts pop.

The cap and diploma stamp is one of my first stamps and is unlabelled. I used the Harmony stamper from JustRite to add the 2009.

This is the inside of both cards. I embossed both images with detail black powder. The Happy Graduation is from Rubber Stampede and I used orange Prismacolored Marker to fill in the letters and the ribbon. The sentiment stamp is from Stampentous.
I plan on making more of these two cards...they are simple to do yet give some character to the cards. Both sons are home from school today...teacher's meetings so I must get them to do some yard work. We are fortunate to live on over an acre of land but that means a lot of raking and mowing .... jobs that teens never seem to have time for! Off to encourage some hard labor...have a great day.
Hugs
Heather
PS: I have heard from some readers that these are images from the Greeting Farm. I am very impressed with them...go check out their site.
