I still had a bit of the blue paper left from the Cardinals so I made this card. I get such a kick out of this stamp from Sugar Nellie...Jingle Bells. I used only Twinkling H2Os on this image and I am pleased with how it turned out I also used my spica pens to do the silver and red berries and ribbon.

Today`s challenge on Spoon Full of Sugar is to make a card using Pink and Green. I decided to use this rose stamp from Rubber Stampede and try to make it look somewhat like a new slightly pink rose. I used my Prismacolored Pencils with OMS to color the image and then cut it out. I used my new oval and scalloped nestibilities and cut out a green and then pink oval. I attached the sore using dimensionals and then attached it all to green DP from Provo Craft. I used the Boho Punch from SU to create the flowers on the side. A dot of stickles on the centers finished the flowers.
I used the glaze pen (pink) and then the white gel pen on the edges of the center image. I used the Pink pencil around the edges of the card to finish the top layer before adding the olive green base. It was different not to do a Christmas card. 
She also used a spica pens and the cuttlebug. First she colored the image on Whisper White paper using the pencils and highlighting with spica. She had a great time learning how to spread the colors using stumps and OMS. She used silver Paper Company paper and the cuttlebug Swirls folder to emboss the BG and then used a Metallic Pink to outline the whole thing.
This is the first one I did using the Poinsetta and Holly Wreath stamp from Impression Obsession. I painted it using Twinkling H2Os and using my cutting system from CTMH to create the circles of red and green.
I put the medallion over red ribbon and put white Spool of Ribbon which is so affordable...under $1. I put dots of Red Stickles on the ribbon to give it more detail. The BG is the Swiss Dot folder fr Cuttlebug. I used the sm/lg oval punches to add the sentiment which I wrote using a blue gel pen.
On this second version of the same card I used a die cut from Cuttlebug to hold the sentiment. I like both versions but maybe the first one the most.Next I worked on a new stamp from IO...the Cardinals. I love Cardinals and wanted to create a soft card. I stamped the image using Versafine Black Onxy and wrote the sentiment with a blue Gel pen. I actually made 3 of these cards...I have been asked to put some crafts in a sale at the school I used to teach at sooooooo multiple cards are the way to go.
This is my favorite new stamp, Cardinals from Impression Obsession. I love the way this card turned out. I am so pleased with all its parts. I used H2Os to color the birds. My Sister used to have Cardinals in her back yard and I loved them. They look so fantastic against the leaves . We rarely get them in the Maritimes so they remain special to me. I did the branch with Prismacolred pencils since limbs to not have any sheen to them. I am so pleased with the BG. I used the cloud template from
http://valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com/2008/10/up-in-clouds-stencling-tutorial-and.html This is the greatest template. The BG looks great. I used the template and bashful blue ink on whisper white paper. I added some ribbon and sentiment (sm/lrg oval punch) to finish the card.
In this version I had to cut the bird image on an angle...poor stamping placement so I had to fill in the space using a snowflake from the Snowflake Spot stamp and crystal embossing powder. I like both versions. do you have a favorite?

I made this card using the directions for the Thursday challenge Ways to Use It. You had to use a quote somewhere on the card. I used two stamps to create the main image. The quote is a Rubber Stampede while the oval is an Inkadinkado.
After I painted the outside I found the white too overpowering so I took my stippler brush and stippled some gold dust and ginger peach H2Os on the center. I cut out the image and placed it on beautiful paper I received in the mail today. I received a beautiful package from Michelle Pearson of Inspiration Blooms. It was such a lovely RAK. She sent papers, embellishments from stampin bella, spiral clips, and glimmer mist. I am so touched by such kindness. Go check out her blog Inspiration blooms. She has beautiful work.

Guess what I got in the mail today? Your right, more nestibilities. Today my heart shaped, oval, oval scallop and circle scallop all arrived. So....out of this came this card. I had such fun making this card. I used the two largest hearts to make the heart shapes and used a silver gel pen to decorate them. I traced the embossed outline on the red one and dotted the green one.
I did a switch today, and with the exception of the faces, this image is all painted in twinkling H2Os. I love the look of this but it is very hard to photo. I also used some stickles on this image. I used star dust stickles on the pom pom and the cuffs. I really wish I had the puffy foam but I don`t so the stickles were used.

This is another one of my Impression Obsession stamps. I love this scene. It is so much like the Maritimes where I live...water, wooden bridges and lobster traps....all totally Maritime items.
The stamp had the American Flag on it but I colored it to give the appearance of the Canadian flag. I hope this does not offend the artist but Canadians do love our flag.
