New Born Sympathy

One of my DH colleagues was expecting her first grandchild and after being 2 weeks overdue the child died at birth. She is so devastated as are the expecting parents that making this card was very difficult. I tried to make it less about death and more about becoming an angel. I hope this gives some expression of caring to the family.

This image is from Inkadinkado. I embossed with gold detail powder and colored it using Twinkling H2Os. I used the curvy rectangle nestibilities on all the papers...Textured Metallic from DCWV . The half pearls are almond colored and are from SU.
The flair image is from Stampscapes and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado. I also put the embossed flair on the envelope.
Beautiful weather here today so I must do some outside tinkering. It's only 2 weeks until my son's grad party and the pool and hot tub have decided to stop working! Not a good thing for a pool party. Here is hoping that they both get fixed very quickly.
Hugs
Heather

Heather what a very hard card you have had to make for a truely sad occasion but you have made a beautiful, heartful & loving card which definitely conveys "angels". A big well done as I'm not sure I would of known where to start.

Hope you get the hot tub fixed in time for the graduation party.

Hi Heather. What a sad story this is ... and I just can't imagine how difficult it must be for the family. But I am sure your creation will also help ease their grief. Hope the hot tub gets fixed for the grad party. Hugs from Desire
