Angels Framed

For the next few posts I will be showing the projects I have been making for the school fair. These angels are both done on Very Vanilla Paper and framed in a $store frame. Gotta love the $store for frames. They look good and they are affordable.
This is the first angel framed and I used Twinkling H2Os to paint the angel and the flowers on the edge. The backgrounds of the image are done using the metallic pencils from Stamp Zia. They are great. They have a very smooth coverage and have a sheen when finished.
This closer image shows the detail of this stamp. After it was colored I cut the image around the edge and then I placed it on blue shimmer paper. I made a mat with black from The Paper Company and used the Wrought Iron Corner punch from Su to create the details on the top corners. Then the whole thing was attached to purple shimmer paper. The I believe in Angels was embossed with Gold Detail EP and punch with the curly tag punch.

The second image was colored with Prismacolored Pencils and OMS.
This time I used Dark Blue shimmer paper on the background and the oval punch for the I Believe in Angels. I like both projects but I love the shimmer on the first one done with the Twinkling H2Os. There is such a beautiful glow that comes from this paint. Your pictures appear to have more movement than the ones done with Prismacolored Pencils.
Off to work on more projects which I will post later. Talk soon.

Amazing! I have been missing so much gorgeousness on here. (I'm so behind in blurfing!) Your painting is unbelievable. SO vibrant and breathtaking! :O)
