I made this card for the twin not in the hospital. One of my twin nieces is still in the hospital and missing her twin. I sent this card for her to her sister at home. I used my wonderful Sugar Nellies stamp and my favorite nestibility...curly rectangle mega nestie. I seem to use it the most so it must be my favorite.
I used my Prismacolored Markers to color. I love this mix of colors...here is the recipe:
I used my Prismacolored Markers to color. I love this mix of colors...here is the recipe:
- clothing light cerulean blue, light aqua and inkessential opaque white pen for highlights
- patches, belt deco pink
- flowers mulberry, light olive, inkessential pen
- hair light tan, light umber
- hair band mulberry
- ground light tan
I used the light cerulean blue and the blender pen to haze around the image. This really is a fun way to punch your image. I added a heart brad at the top for a little glamour.
Its only 4 am and now I think I can take a rest. I woke up worried about something....don`t have a clue what...must have been from a dream. I just couldn`t snap out of it so off to the computer. At least no one is yelling at me. Yesterday I was signing a card when I was called and wrote handmade for you by Mom. Oh, I am glad I could explain this on the card. .. Friends understand (I hope). Life has a way of getting in the way of stamping sometime.
Hugs
Heather

Oh, what gorgeous card!
I love colors and cute image!
Oh, Heather! Your coloring on this is absolutely wonderful! You couldn't have picked better designer paper for the mat, either. So pretty! I see you did the halo, as you mentioned you would try, and it turned out just beautiful. Aren't these images fun to color? I love it! -- Leslie Miller
