Guess what another Christmas Card! I used the same stamp as yesterday`s post and it looks so different. Today I used different coloring method and of course, as the title says, Dazzling Diamonds.
I live in the Maritimes so we are used to snow. The most beautiful sight in winter is the look of snow covered trees and a field of freshly fallen snow. It sparkles as the sun hits it and Dazzling Diamonds are almost the perfect match.
As a kid I used to love those cards that has the sparkling dust on them and I still do. I used to think that someone really rich had sent the card. Now I simply use the correct glitter. I used Zig Two-Way glue to attach it and used the heat gun to make sure it stayed on. I enjoy using Zig Two-Way because it goes on blue so you know where you have placed it. It dries clear so there is no worries of it showing. Great stuff. I got mine at Michaels.
I used Prismacolored Pencils and OMS to color in the village image. I wanted to try softer almost pastel colors instead of the jewel tones of the twinkling H2Os from yesterday`s post. I stacked two ribbons as trim and used a $ store brad to balance the scene. I wrote the sentiment on with a black gel pen. The Let it Snow is actually a sticker from the Provo Craft Christmas slab from 2007.
