Christmas Village

This is another wonderful stamp from www.stampin.com and it is so much fun to color. Don`t you think it is glorious! I love this stamp. It is exactly like a wonderful Ole English Village.

I used Twinkling H2Os on this card and in real view it really twinkles. The colors are all rich and have such great shimmers. The wonderful thing about these paints is that the amount of water used determines how rich or deep the color is. This allows you to actually create many different shades of each of these colors. It really makes it possible to create shade and depth in your coloring. Love these paints.

I used Christmas DP for the BG as well as Shimmer Silver for the trim.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day all Canadians. I`m off to put the turkey in the oven. I made the stuffing yesterday as I need a whole extra pan since it is a family favorite. I think my dressing is popular because of the extras I put in it. If I don`t have raisin bread to crumble into it I add raisins. I also add chopped apricots and apples. I mash the potatoes add bread crumbs and Summer Savory and then pop in everything else...additions are never turned down...dried cranberries are fantastic in it as are walnuts. I press it into a 12 x 8 pan and drop some margarine on the top for crispness and bake until golden brown. It has never let me down so I highly recommend it.

Happy Thanksgiving
Heather
