Fireplace Scene

I got great mail yesterday. My order arrived from The Stampin`Place (www.stampin.com) and I am so pleased with my order. This is the fireplace scene. In front of the fireplace scene I attached a Magnolia stamp from the Fall Stamp Club.

The photo really doesn`t do justice to the card. I did the fireplace scene using Twinkling H2Os and they photo poorly. The pinkish color on the fireplace screen is actually gold in color and the walls and the back of the fireplace are a warm almond color. Lots of sparkle in real life but missing on the photo.

I love detailed stamps and this one surely is. This stamp is not for a fast card. It takes time to paint or color all the details but I love doing that so I had great fun.

We are having a beautiful Fall day. I just came in after taking the dogs out for a play in the yard. Our Yorkies love to run and jump through our trees. I really didn`t want to come in. It was warm and sunny. Fantastic weather.

Your not going to believe what my DH is doing....putting all our beautiful and plentiful decorations/trinkets to prepare for the next season`s decorating. Now you may think I mean Halloween but you would be wrong. I have a husband who love decorating for Christmas so guess what....today he is putting all our non-Christmas ornaments and keepsakes away until January. Weird family eh. We are a very fortunate family who collects all antiques plus angels and music boxes so you can imagine our collection. He uses those large Rubbermaid tubs to pack things in and the family room uses about 4 large bins. Our boys plan a huge sale when we are gone!

Well I am being paged by my DH to àssist`him so talk later.
