Whiff of Joy Design Team Call

Whiff of Joy has a design team call on until Dec. 6th. I decided to give it a try. Here is the sketch you had to follow:

And here is my submission to the Designer Call:
This is a large card. The stamp alone is over 4inches tall and 3 inches wide so most cards with this stamp end up on the large side. I used Prismacolored Pencils with OMS to do all the coloring. I love the way the skirt turned out. The colors were chosen to match that glorious DP with the glittered embossing. I just love it. It is from DCWV.

I used Stickles to make the Holly Berries show up and Spica pens were used on the lantern. I love how the lantern glistens. I used Sage Shadow ink (SU) and a blender pen for the leaves of the Holly. I used a silver spica pen to highlight the folds in the dress and the trim on the front top of the dress. The card does not show as well in a photo as it does in reality. As the card moves, the light catches on all the spica markings and the stickles.
The above closeup shows the blue cardstock was run through the CB with the Dotted Swiss folder. Such an easy way to create texture on your cardstock. Love that machine. Both the dove and the sentiment are stickers from Provo Craft. I used dimensional under one wing of the bird to add depth to the sticker.

As a final touch I added white scribbles on the edges and dotted the edge of the Winter White (SU) image layer using the blue spica pen.

Guess that`s all. The big Christmas Tour is this Saturday and Sunday is the family and friends Open House so I will not be on the computer after tonight. Housecleaning occurs tomorrow. When I post some photos of our decorated home you will see why dusting will be an all day happening. Woe is me, dusting instead of stamping.
