Bea of
http://megastamper.blogspot.com/ has a sketch challenge out that I just had to take part in. I adore Bea's work and was honored to try her sketch. Without further ado here is my take on Bea's sketch.

I wanted a bright Spring card and I think I achieved this. I am so missing grass and flowers so it was important to have loads of color and flowers.

I colored using my wonderful Twinkling H2Os. I just love the sparkle. I added some
spica pens to the hair and the shoes to really get a little pop. This wonderful image is from
Inkadinkado's Fairy Set and I love it. There is something so wonderful about the possibility of fairies....I loved them as a child so why not as an adult!

I used the
Marvy flower punch to make these flowers. I layered them with dimensions and actually added a third one to the center flower. The leaves are the oak leaf punch from Martha Stewart and finally the beautiful butterflies are from the
Fairies stamp set. Aren't they wonderful! I used my
spica pens to color them so their color would be intense. I used Golden Rod
stickles to the center of the flowers and the butterflies and on the wings of the fairy.

On the inside I used ....computer paper for the pattern section. The ticket punch was used on all corners of the card. All the other papers used in this card are from
DCWV.
I love this challenge and I am so happy with the card. If I don't look out the window and see all that snow I can actually think Spring. This has been our snowiest Winter...all kinds of records broken and now it is time for it to be Gone!
Off to do a "little" cleaning and make another card. Oops I almost forgot....I will used random.com to find the winner of the magnolia stamp later today so check back to see who wins.
Hugs
Heather
