Verve stamps has a monthly parade and this last part of September has the theme of Natural Fibers. Kraft paper was to be used and anything natural like twine could also be used. You have until September 30th to post to the site below. Someone will win $15 to spend and the Verve stamp shop. http://vervevisual.blogspot.com/
This time I used Kraft paper and Old Olive paper. Instead of folding in the middle I fol the card at the top making a flap of 4 inches on a 6.25 inch card. Just a little change. Actually I got the design from my SU demo Karen Boreham, one very talented lady...don`t tell her I called her a
lady.
The stamp used is an older SU Christmas stamp. I stamped it in Old Olive and then used Prismacolored pencils with OMS. I found I had to use some detail clear embossing powder on the pine cones and the ribbon to add depth to the card. The Peace stamp is from Inkadinkado stamped in Close to Cocoa. Now I like the card.
So, go have some fun and check out the challenges in this post and the previous. I have no obligations so I`m off to enjoy myself.
Talk later

This is so Fall and holiday combined. It reminds me of a stamp SU used to have. Your card is just wonderful!
