Unto Us a Child is Born

I used my 50% off coupon from Michaels to buy the Inkadinkado Christmas stamp set so I had to come home and stamp with it. This card uses 3 of the 10 stamps in this set. I love it. I used Prismacolored Pencils on the colors on the Kings and the rest of the image is colored using Twinkling H2Os. I used a very fine to paint them. They look wonderful but when you try to photograph them the reflection causes a problem..

I found some gold scrap paper and used a gold spica pen to highlight the flowers on the paper. I used the ticket punch to make the panels. I also used a gold gel pen to create a faint line around the edges of the panels.

The sentiment panel was added last. After I looked at the photo above I realized it was crooked so I have straighten it. I used Versamark Onxy Black ink on whisper white paper. I used Canson Stygian Black and Glossy Gold paper to trim the Image and Sentiment panel. The base is Starburst Translucent Red from The Paper Company. I purchased all the papers at Michaels on sale of course.

I am trying to make as many different Christmas cards as I can. I think it would be great to be able to give everyone a personalized Christmas card.

Not much going on today just the dogs and I at home. I may be able to make another project today. Here's hoping.

Talk later
